The front cover of the DCA Annual Report for 1948-49 showed the Control Tower at Adelaide's Parafield Airport. As the TAA stairs in the foreground illustrate, Parafield was at that time the main airport for Adelaide.

Note the cane signal ball suspended from the mast on the roof of the Tower.
