R F 'Bob' Chamberlain, OIC of DCA's Karumba, Qld, flying boat base. This photo was taken in June 1939. Behind Bob Chamberlain is the standard Aeradio racked HF radio equipment of the day and on the right can just be seen the dial of the desk-top Bellini-Tosi DF equipment.
