Two days after returning to Essendon following repairs after its accident at Avalon (see previous), DCA's HS125 VH-CAO made the the first fixed-wing landing at Melbourne's new Tullamarine Airport with Minister Reg Schwartz and the newly knighted Director-General of Civil Aviation, Sir Donald Anderson aboard.

The photo above shows VH-CAO at Tullamarine. Sir Donald is the second figure from the left in the group by the wing.
